At Dry 24 Water Restoration, we do not hire temporary employees. Each of our Dry 24 Water Restoration technicians are trained and experienced in the following fields:
Water damage occurs when "any water causes the usefulness, or future use or value of any property to become impaired by water."
What is Restoration?
Restore means to "bring back to a formal or normal state. "Restoration is obviously "the act of restoring."
What are the aspects of Water Damage Restoration?
The first and most important aspect of water damage restoration is to remove abnormal moisture from affected materials and return them to their former "normal" state. The restoration is not complete until all affected materials are completely dried and restored to their former condition.
How does water damage occur?
When water damage occurs it normally spreads to the driest and most absorbent material first. Carpet and the underlying "sponge like" padding are usually first. As the carpet and pad saturates, the water then "wicks" up into the dry wall structure (drywall, paneling, plaster etc.) affecting base trim.
